Mason LOVES trains! So we recently took a trip to West Chester to a train place for kids (and adults). We had an awesome time! They had tons of display sets to look at and a huge play area for toddlers! But I think Mason's favorite part was the Thomas the Train ride that he rode TWICE with grandma!

Crockpot Corn Chowder

This stuff is SUPER filling and so good! One pot feeds our family (2 adults and a 1 picky toddler) for 5 meals (2 dinners and 1 lunch)

3 strips of bacon (cooked)
2 cans of creamed corn
16oz frozen diced potatoes
1 pt light cream
1 cup chicken broth
6 saltine crackers (crumbled)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 c diced onion
salt and pepper to taste

Mix all ingredients in crock pot. Cook on low 3-4 hours or until potatoes are tender. Enjoy with dinner rolls and some extra cheese on top :)

This weeks total was more than I wanted it to be BUT Kroger was still having the the buy 10 save $5 mega event SO I stocked up on a few items that I always like to have on hand.
This weeks total was $68.10 (saved $34.38 in coupons and in store credits)

I promise there will be more interesting topics to come :) Right now my imac is on vacation at my moms house. I recently subscribed to mozy.com which is 4.95 per month and it backs up all of your pics, video, music, etc. So if there is ever a fire, theft or other CRAZY horrible thing that happens to my computer ALL of our memories wont be lost! How great is that!?? Anyway, the initial backup takes several days and our internet at home isnt fast enough to handle it. SO my computer is at mom and dads house. So as soon as I get it back I will be able to post pics with my blogs again! So until then!!! Have a great week!
