Great Wolf Lodge

We took an overnight trip to Great Wolf Lodge this week for Mason's 2nd birthday! We had a blast! I was surprised at how much there was for him to do! Jake and I were exhausted from chasing him all over the place! He just didnt know where to go or what to do next! Mason called this trip his "watercation"!! I KNOW his favorite part of the trip was the waterpark BUT he also LOVES buffets! LOL He really liked having all of his favorite foods at his disposal! I was proud of him though! Most of what he requested was fruit!! :)

He loved the water shooting out of the floor!

Garden Update!

Mason's little garden of tomatoes and zinnias ACTUALLY grew! We transplanted into a bigger pot today! SO we will see if I killed them this time...I am a TERRIBLE gardener! Im shocked that we made it this far!!

Sleepy Crafting and the prettiest flower Ive ever seen...

Ive been trying to be a craftier person! I have always loved handmade things, but DIY projects DO NOT come easy to me. I usually start a project and never finish it! Thats why I have a scrapbook of a trip that Jake and I took to Montana in 2003...it has one page in it :) SO if you scrapbook you are my HERO! I can never find the time, patience or creativity to do it successfully! This is why Walgreens photobooks have become my friend.
I have decided to tackle some smaller projects that I can actually see progress on in a short period of time. So far..SO GOOD!  I have been crafting while Mason naps on the weekends because we ALL know attempting to do well...ANYTHING with an awake 2 year old is well...POINTLESS! Plus, Mason and I have better things to do when he is awake..like baking and reading books :)
I also purchased a DIY birthday decoration package for Mason's 2nd birthday on etsy.com so I have been working on that as well. That will be a separate post when I finish it :) The choo choo theme is SO CUTE!

I made this peacock feather hairclip for my friend Mieko. HOWEVER, it looks really cute on MY HEAD so maaaybe she's not gonna get it! :)

I LOVE these wreaths! They are so easy to make! They just take some time to wrap the yarn. Jake thinks they are hideous! So imagine his dismay when he came in yesterday and I had made 4 of them :)

Mason was playing outside yesterday with his Ma (grandma). When he came in..he had picked me a tulip :) Then he had to run back outside and pick another one for his daddy too! He is SO sweet! Then he went out and picked tulips for everyone (it became a game!)....So much for Ma's flowers!
