January Play Date!

With everything going on these days Mason and I haven't been able to have many play dates with his little buddies! BUT we were able to squeeze in a play date with Ethen and Averie Shay today at Twigs! If you have never been there I HIGHLY recommend it! Its quite a drive for us but, its totally worth it! They have an activity called "Bouncing with Books" every Monday morning. Its open to the public, costs $9 per participating child and is completely awesome! Its basically a giant padded gym! What I love about it is that you can see the entire gym...from anywhere in the gym. So Brittany and I were able to let the boys run wild and didn't have to keep chasing them down! So play time is an hour long and then they have story time and a simple craft for the kids to do. Again, totally awesome! The boys had a blast and we are looking forward to going again next Monday!

Always a ladies man...

ROOAAAAR!

Whew! After over a month we are finally back to the blog! We have all been so busy since the holidays. Jake has been trying to catch up with work since the weather has been gross and I have been trying to get our home office organized so that running TWO businesses out of it isn't so chaotic! But today we spent the afternoon at "Discover the Dinosaurs" at the Dayton Convention Center. It was a lot of fun! I really think its overpriced and as always they try to suck every last dollar out of you by sticking things in front of your kid that costs extra and daring you to say "no"! HA! Aside from that...we had a great time! Mason loved pushing all of the buttons that made the dinos move! He got his face painted, mined for gold, rode on the dinosaur ride AND got crazy in the bounce houses (yes, thats plural and yes, it cost EXTRA!) We had dinner at the Olive Garden and watched Ice Age (Dawn Of the Dinosaurs) in 3D when we got home. What a perfect dino day (I know...Im lame)!

First Face Painting EVER....not so sure about it...
